In case you hadn’t noticed, youth sports are full of greed, jealousy, emotional stress, financial stress, self-doubt, and a million other pitfalls. There is plenty of joy too but it often gets buried amid the choas.

One of those recs which I consider a mandatory read whenever it hits my inbox is written by none other than Hall-of-Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. It’s always a fascinating read that delves into Kareem’s thought-proving views on a variety of current events. One of Kareem’s recent newsletters contained a video that crossed over into our world. As Kareem aptly stated:
